Pesce and Veggie Diaries: Day 9

Now what?

This 30-day challenge isn’t even done yet and we found ourselves last night thinking of other experiments we can do for the succeeding months. Maybe a 30-day challenge about learning how to play the keyboard or the guitar, all for the purpose of self improvement. We’ll see. But on to the food.

Breakfast

It’s a cereal day. So basically we mix 2 types of cereals, the flat ones and the fruit-granola mix. As usual, we put milk and yogurt, plus the flavour of the week, which in this case is blueberry jam.

Lunch

I found pretzels! This one is from Natural Lawson, the convenience store for health conscious people. The pretzel had a chewy cheesy center, which was great. The salad is… I forgot what it was called, but it was good. Chef had this seafood pasta.

Dinner

Goodness! Tofu you get me. Not only that, everything was working in harmony. It’d be a crime not to share that tofu mixture and the pasta sauce recipes to friends.

Ingredients: Tofu, Ginger, Onions, Soy Sauce, Yuzu, Avocado, Sesame seeds and oil, fresh soba, lettuce, sesame dressing for the salad.

Snack

Chef unintentionally cracked an egg. So instead of letting it go to waste, he made this snack below. Well, this was served soon after dinner so this could as well be part of the dinner menu but I decided to give it its own space.

Ingredients: Unintentionally cracked egg, potatoes, cheese, oregano

I'm an active-lifestyle enthusiast. I love the outdoors. A geek on weekdays, a sports buff on weekends. I was a worry wart for some time. But because of that I'm enjoying the present. Snowboarder, app developer, runner, gadget collector, hiker are some of the things I am. A healthy mind deserves a healthy body. So shape up!
