Pesce and Veggie Diaries: Day 11 & 12

I’ll just focus on dinners in this entry.

Dinner – Saturday

Marlo and I decided to go on a road trip with some friends and we found ourselves ending up at Enoshima, and eventually Red Lobster. Now this was the first time I am ordering something at a restaurant, and explicitly giving the waitress an instruction to remove the meat. For some reason I felt awkward while doing it. Anyway, I ended up with a meat-free taco salad, with a side of onion rings.

Marlo on the other hand had seafood-curry pasta. It looked delicious, but sadly we forgot to take a picture.

*Update: He did in fact have a photo.

Dinner – Sunday

This time we had an appetiser of warm tomato soup, and it was really good. The main dish was a sautéed bitter gourd mixed with onions and eggs. The bitter gourd is probably my favourite vegetable in general.

Also during the weekend, I decided to go to an animal shelter and volunteer on helping them on their event. This is Max, he’s two years old and was just taken in. He’s looking for a new home. Anybody in Tokyo/Kanagawa area who is interested in caring for this Doberman can visit their website by clicking here.

I'm an active-lifestyle enthusiast. I love the outdoors. A geek on weekdays, a sports buff on weekends. I was a worry wart for some time. But because of that I'm enjoying the present. Snowboarder, app developer, runner, gadget collector, hiker are some of the things I am. A healthy mind deserves a healthy body. So shape up!
